David Mattioli, RN, CMC, BSN
Vice President, Regional Operations
David Mattioli brings more than 17 years' experience in a variety of healthcare settings to SeniorBridge. For 9 years previously, he was the Administrator of Almost Family in West Palm Beach, responsible for operations and delivery of care for the in-home program in 4 counties, and for a time served dually in that role at Almost Family's Medical Adult Day Center in Boynton Beach. Mr. Mattioli began his nursing career at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he developed a passion for caring for the elderly, and became a care manager before returning to Florida. He is a certified trainer for the Alzheimer training course for home health agencies in Florida and coauthored the curriculum used for the training. Mr. Mattioli is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers. He received a BS in biology from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a BSN from Eastern Michigan University, and is a certified Legal Nurse Consultant. He is a current member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the Case Management Society of America.
Susan Guthrie, RN, MSN
Executive Director/Director of Client Services
Susan is a Charlotte native with more than 22 years of nursing experience and particular expertise in case management, home healthcare and caring for patients with cardiac disease. Her career began as a critical care nurse for cardiac patients at Presbyterian Hospital where she gained experience in the cardiovascular recovery, coronary care and medical-surgical units. After eleven years, Susan left the bedside to provide case management services for hospitalized patients and pursue her passion in offering solutions for the special needs of the geriatric population and their families. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Susan served as National Clinical Specialist for a large home healthcare company where she provided operations and clinical leadership. Other career highlights include serving as a Cardiopulmonary Specialty Director and Home Care Specialist. Among her accomplishments, Susan has co-authored several training and continuing education courses as well as earned awards and recognition for her performance in sales, business development and specialty leadership. Susan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from University of North Carolina at Greensboro and her Master of Science in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte. She is a member of American Association of Heart Failure Nurses, American Heart Association, American Nurses Association and North Carolina Nurses Association.
Nancy Cullen
Director of Professional Relations
Nancy joins SeniorBridge with more than 30 years experience in the healthcare delivery field. Most recently, Nancy was the Director of Provider Relations at Acuity Healthcare, where she successfully built professional relationships within the community while advocating for high quality patient care. Previously, she worked for more than 25 years with the Carolinas Healthcare System, and was instrumental in guiding the daily operations within the acute rehabilitation and home health care settings including community relation building, liaising with physicians and discharge planning. Her many years within the healthcare system provide her with a broad depth of experience. Among her accolades, Nancy earned the President's Award for Excellence in Action and a Certificate of Appreciation from ADAM (a disabled men's group). She holds a Master of Science in Recreation Resource Administration from North Carolina State University.
Mary Medford, RN, BSN, MA
Care Manager
Mary brings 30 years of professional nursing experience in the healthcare field with particular expertise as an educator and in homecare. Her commitment to excellence encompasses all areas of her work including strong client advocacy and has experience in a variety of settings including critical care, medical surgery, ER, home care, parish nursing and hospice. In Mary's nursing career she has worked for several long-term care insurance companies as a long term care underwriter specialist and multiple home care agencies and hospitals throughout California and North Carolina. Prior to joining SeniorBridge, Mary served as a home health nurse and Case Manager in the Charlotte Region. Other career highlights include RN Case Manager and Admissions Nurse at Community Home Care & Hospice, and Staff Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Matthews Hospital and Anson Community Hospital, Wadesboro. Mary has also worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) I and II and Nutrition Instructor for several years at the community college level, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies. Mary holds licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina and certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and as a Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor.
